Amir Khan's promoter Frank Warren says he will not rush his fighter into a title match despite calls for the 19-year-old to face sterner tests.
Warren said: "We're making the right moves. We're not putting him top of the bill, so we are not having people on.
"Let's not start saying he should be fighting for a world title right now."
"For us to even be discussing his opponents after just five fights I find amazing.
"Muhammad Ali fought someone called Donnie Fleeman in his fifth fight while Sugar Ray Leonard fought a guy with four wins and 10 losses.
"Given his age, his experience and the pressures he had, Amir was fantastic (against Martynov).
"He still has a lot to learn but he is adapting well as a pro. I just can't tell you how good I think he looks."
